    Branko Schmidt was born in Osijek, in 1957. After a short-term attendance of Economic College, he graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb, film and television directing. His graduation thesis was a noticeable TV play
    "Rano sazrijevanje Marka Kovača" (1981). The next year he did a drama for television - Hildegard - which was declared – the best TV drama on the Yugoslavian state area. In 1988 he directed his first feature-length film Sokol ga nije volio – following the play by Filip Šovagović, and won The debutant of the year award at the Pula Film Festival. In the course of his career he has done a lot of plays, documentary films and also TV series for children – Operacija Barbarossa ( 1989) – following the novel of Ivan Kušan. In the Nineties he directed 4 more feature-length films: Đuka Begović (1991), Vukovar se vraća kući (1994), i Božić u Beču (1997) for which he was awarded with the Golden Arena for typescript. In 1999 he films Srce nije u modi. For his last film Kraljica noći (2001) he won The Golden Arena for typescript and production.
    He was a member of the International film festival in Moscow in 2004.

    Stanislav Babić was born in 1945 in Zagreb. He graduated from the Economics Faculty in Zagreb in 1968. From 1970 till 1989 he worked as the director of the representative bodies for the marketing programmes for the Beograd, Titograd and Pristina TV in SR Croatia.
    In 1990 in Wienna- Austria, he formed his own production company 'Vestaco G.M. B. H.', and in 2001 he founded another production company in Zagreb – TELEFILM d.o.o. Besides marketable films he produced documentary films and feature films, like: KONJANIK and THE MELON ROUTE.
     
    Mirko Galić (55) is a journalist, married, and a father of two children. He finished elementary school in Skradin, high-school on the island Krk, and he graduated from the Political Sciences College, University in Zagreb. From 1968 he worked as a reporter and commentator for Vjesnik. From 1980 till 1984 he was a correspondent for the Vjesnik newspapers from Paris. He was working as the editor- in- chief of the weekly magazine Danas from 1984 till 1988. From the 1988 till the end of 1997 he was a correspondent for Vjesnik and Večernji list from Paris. He was member of the direction and an assistant director on the Croatian Radio Television. On the 16th of February, 1999 he resigned from his position as a member of the Croatian Radio Television direction due to the blockage in accomplishing public TV which he strongly aspired to. Since September 1999. he has been the director of the Europapress holding d.o.o. publishing sector, and the editor-in-chief of the weekly magazine Globus. On the 16th of March 2000 the Croatian Parliament named him the HRT editor-in-chief, with the aim to carry out the transformation from state to public radio and television. He is the author of two books – Politika u emigraciji and Zrcalo nad Hrvatskom. He is awarded with the journalist branch association award – Otokar Keršvani – for life's work.

    Vjekoslav Vrdoljak was born in Zagreb in 1954, where he also studied philosophy and literature at the Faculty of Arts, and he graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts, film and TV directing, Zagreb.
    In the 1988 he was the director of photography in the film Glembajevi by Antun Vrdoljak, for which he won the Golden medal ' Milton Manaki ' at the Camera film festival. The co-operation with his father continued in the 1999 with the film Karneval, anđeo i prah. In the 1999 he was also the director of photography in the films Priča iz Hrvatske by Krsto Papić, and Vrijeme rata by Dean Šorko. In 1994 he worked on the film by Jakov Sedlar - Gospa – and on 1995 Vicko Ruić's film Nausikaja. For these two films he won the annual ' Vladimir Nazor ' award ( 1995) and for Nausikaja he also won the Golden Arena in Pula Film Festival (1996).
    In 1997 he worked on Branko Schmidt's film Božić u Beču, and again, won the Golden Arena for the film Garcia in 1999. He was the director of photography in the film Srce nije u modi (Branko Schmidt).

    Miroslav Škorowas born on 29th July, 1962 in Osijek. A Croat, catholic, married, a father of two children. He finished elementary school and high-school in Osijek. He graduated from the School of Civil Engineering at the Strossmayer University in Osijek.
    For two years he has been the student at the Community College of Allegheny County, USA. He is the first generation attendant of the Diplomatic Academy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and for quite some time he has been at his fourth year on the Economic College in Osijek. He is fluent in written and spoken English.

    Mladen Ožbolt was born on the 16 th February, in 1957 in Čabar. From 1983 to 1986 he was a student of the Art history at the Faculty of arts in Zagreb, he graduated from the College of Architecture in Zagreb in 1982.
    After the College of architecture he worked in architectural offices in the works of designing and engineering.
    In 1982 he started working on the film as the assistant art director in co-production film- Sofijin Izbor( Sophie's choice). He has been a member of Croatian film workers' society since 1984. He acquired the artist status in July, 1993 and has been a member of Croatian independent artists' society.
    He has worked on the set design or as the set dresser ili art director in numerous co-production films: 'Sofijin izbor', 'Diktator Mussolini', 'General Garibaldi', 'Utrka za bombom', 'Veliki bijeg', 'Recoveri', 'Ashenden', 'Smrt učenika', 'Rosenkrantz i Guildenstern su mrtvi', 'Regrut', 'Vlak smrti', 'Michele u ratu', 'Arsen Lupen', 'Bijele ruže', 'Pinocchio' i 'Land of Love'.
    He was a team member in the film 'Pacemaker' (Dreamworks), which was shot in the Slovak Republic, and is the art director of national films: 'Zlatne godine', 'Putovanje tamnom polutkom', 'Hrvatska bogorodica', 'Prezimiti u Riu', 'Djed i baka se rastaju', 'Libertas', 'Oprosti za kung fu', 'Snivaj zlato moje', 'Vukovar se vraća kući' i TV serije 'Obiteljska stvar'.
    He is the art director for the films 'Chico' (Maxima films and Hungarian co-producers) and 'Enclave' (Tuna film and Dutch co-producer), which won the international award in production.
    Besides the set design for the film, he has worked for the theatrical troop Histrioni, he has done scenery for the exhibitions, international reviews of folklore festivals and set design for numerous commercials and music videos.
    Zlatko Ožbolt also won the Golden Arena on Pula Film Festival for the scenography (set design) of the film "Prezimiti u Riu", 2002.

      He was born on 17th April, 1974 in Osijek, where after having finished high-school (mathematics, informatics), he attended the Academy of Dramatic Arts, dislocated college in Osijek.

      Rođen je 07.10.1952. u Orašju (Donja Mahala). Diplomirao je na Akademiji dramskih umjetnosti u Zagrebu.
      He was born on the 7th October, 1952 in Orašje(Donja Mahala). He graduated from the Academy of dramatic Arts in Zagreb. He made his debut in 1977 with the film Ne naginji se kroz prozor, by B.Žižić, as a leading character – a narrow-minded migrant worker in Germany. This kind of role was a characteristic of his acting profile. In the course of the Eighties and Nineties he played numerous distinguished roles in the film. He is great in embodying rough, sometimes dangerous 'folk' types, such as the kidnapper in Osuđeni (1987) by Z.Tadić, a train guard in Kraljeva završnica (1987) by Ž.Tomić, the investigator in the film Život sa stricem (1988), by K-Papić. Similar character is the one of a robber and lover – J.Stanisavljević ( Slavonian Robin Hood) in the film Čaruga ( 1991) by R.Grlić
      He is successful in the theatre as well as on the TV. He was awarded on the festival in Niš (Serbia), and won the award ' Seven secretaries of SKOJ ' and others.

      Rođen je 03. rujna 1966. godine u Zagrebu. Otac, sin, unuk i brat. Služio je dvije vojske, preživio reformu i revoluciju. Pripadnik generacije koju nitko ništa ne pita.
      He was born on the 3rd September in 1966 in Zagreb. A father, a son, a grandson and a brother. He served in two armies, survived the reform and revolution. He is the member of the generation that nobody asks for anything. He attended the school: August Šenoa, Seven secretaries of SKOJ, and Educational center for languages. He is the senior student of film directing at the Academy of dramatic arts. Šovagović is the author of the plays: Zvonimir Zajc, Cigla and Ptičice. For the play Cigla he won the award of the Association of the dramatic artists, for the best opening night text in the 98/99 season in HNK production, Split. It was also proclaimed as the best play of the 9th Marulić's days.
      He has acted in about 30 feature-films and as much theatrical plays. He is the actor of the Gavella dramatic theatre in Zagreb. He played in the plays of Čehov, Beckett, Turgenjev, Shakespeare, Jovanović, Šoljan, Coltes, Šovagović,and in the films by Grlić, Tribuson, Smodlaka, Nola, Hribar, Schmidt, Kušan, Ogresta, Snježana Tribuson, Pavličić, Hitrec, …He has had experience as the director and screenplay writer in 3 short films: Say no, Drvo života, Na travi and as co-director of the Beckett's play U očekivanju Godota. He assisted directors Božidar Violić and Branko Ivanda in ITD theatre.
